Festival Magic Meets Floral Elegance
Tucked away in the Wiltshire countryside, Kin House set the scene for one of our most creative and joy-filled weddings to date, a celebration inspired by none other than the iconic Glastonbury Festival. With Glastonbury just around the corner, it felt only fitting to draw on its energy, artistry, and wild beauty to transform this stylish venue into a floral festival fantasy. Working alongside Emily at In Awe Weddings and Events was magical, and the brief was simply stunning!

The ceremony began with a showstopping focal point: a dramatic pyramid archway we designed as a nod to the world-famous Glastonbury stage. Built from natural materials and softened with abundant, cascading florals in layered textures and rich, bright, tonal colours, the structure stood proudly at the top of the altar in The Garden Room at Kin House, creating a bold and breathtaking altar beneath the open sky.

For the wedding breakfast, we turned up the festival-style magic indoors, suspending flower clouds from the ceiling to evoke the dreamy, otherworldly atmosphere of a midsummer festival. Billowing with blooms in bright, springtime tones, these overhead installations created a warm, immersive environment as guests dined beneath them, with an abundance of florals on every table. Every table was dressed with colour-rich flowers, natural linens, and delicate details that balanced luxury with laid-back elegance.

As the sun set and the party moved into full swing, we reimagined the floral installations once again, transforming the space into an epic evening party, Glastonbury-style. Think ambient lighting, wild floral touches, and the kind of joyful, uninhibited energy only a true festival-influenced celebration can bring.

It was a day that perfectly captured the couple’s vibrant spirit and love for music, creativity, and connection, and a dream brief for our design studio. We adore working on weddings that embrace bold ideas, seasonal beauty, and a sense of play, and this one truly had it all.
If you are planning on attending Glastonbury this year, I hope you have the most wonderful time!
