For Wizz & Wild, every wedding is a story waiting to be told through flowers—and this one at the breathtaking Ashby Manor House in Rugby was nothing short of a summer’s floral fairytale.
Nestled in the Warwickshire countryside, Ashby Manor House exudes timeless elegance, making it the perfect backdrop for a wedding steeped in romance. For this unforgettable day, we were entrusted with transforming both the outdoor ceremony space and a grand marquee reception into luxurious floral masterpieces that reflected the couple’s refined taste and love for seasonal beauty.
The Ceremony: Garden Grandeur by the Fountain
The ceremony took place outdoors, with the majestic stone fountain at the heart of the design. Framing this serene setting, we created a show-stopping broken floral arch, bursting with layers of soft ivory roses, blush tones with accents of deep burgundy, and delicate garden blooms—each chosen to echo the natural grace of the grounds while adding an air of classic sophistication.
Trailing jasmine, flowering clematis, and textured greenery cascaded from the arch, bringing movement and an organic charm to the structure. Upon the fountain, clusters of blooms and foliage lined the walkway, guiding guests to their seats and drawing all eyes to the vows shared in front of the fountain’s gentle cascade.
The Reception: A Marquee Wonderland
As guests moved into the marquee, they were transported into a world of floral opulence. Designed to complement the light-filled, airy structure, we curated an immersive botanical experience using layers of seasonal flowers and abundant foliage.
Suspended installations of wild smilax danced overhead, interwoven with soft florals in neutral, romantic tones, creating a canopy that felt both luxurious and effortlessly natural. Tall, sculptural arrangements anchored the space, while lower tablescapes featured overflowing bowls of Roses, Ranunculus, Sweet peas, Hellebores, and Heirloom roses, styled with intentional asymmetry for a modern yet timeless feel.
The marquee itself became a living garden—lush, layered, and utterly enchanting. Every floral touch was crafted to enhance the setting while staying true to the season, grounding the design in authenticity and understated luxury.
